Raginae Laughlin Piano Instruction
About The Artist

“What is most important is to find
peace and share it with others”

–Thich Nhat Hanh

After years of teaching throughout the country, Raginae found a home in Indianapolis.  She married James Laughlin and had one beautiful, charismatic daughter, Chloe. In 2002 James was lost to a tragic drowning accident. Through this tragedy, Raginae found much solace in her music. She and Chloe also found healing at Brooke’s Place, a foundation for grieving young children. She has devoted much energy in creating unique Fine Arts Events for the benefit of Brooke's Place.

With a career of performance and teaching that spans nearly two decades, Raginae is now taking on new opportunities to touch more lives with her music. She released four CD’s of diverse styles, and performs frequently at The Riley Hospital for Children, the IUPUI Cancer Pavilion, Noble of Indiana, and other not for profit such as Ambassadors for Children.  Raginae has also had the privilege to perform at the Indianapolis Museum of Art, Scottish Rite Cathedral, Stutz Building, American Caberet Theatre, Broadmoor Country Club, Meridian Hills Country Club and the home of Christel De Hahn.

Music continues to provide Raginae with the keys to happiness. What started out as an inquiry for piano lessons, became a wonderful partner. In September of 2006, she married Chip Heberden and they live with each of their daughters in Meridian Kessler.
